When Big Artists were Little Kids is Greg Constantine’s attempt to recall his own beginnings as an artist by imagining how famous artists started out.

He remembers filling all his school workbooks with drawings of sports,
airplanes, cars and fighting soldiers. This became such a problem that pencils and paper were taken from him in order to focus attention on the necessary academic subjects.

Art not only survived in his life, but prospered in his pursuit to express his vision. Most artists have passed through a measure of this experience, ultimately making them stronger and more determined to follow their obsession.
